Mastering Languages

Lets share the secret in mastering languages with one of the students from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), studying Arabic Literature course there.

• She reveal that she always watch foreign movies or dramas in foreign language, and the sub-title is in another language. Killing two birds with one stone, this enable her to learn two languages at the same time
• When she meets her foreign friends, she doesn't hesitate when talking to them in their language. Chatting around with the foreigners was like a golden opportunity for her to try out the new words that she have learnt
• And don't be afraid to make mistake. She said to me that someone who cares too much about her grammar will have less progress in her fluency.
• Try, try, try and keep trying
• "What's wrong with falling down, we can always try again," was her favourite qoute

With her extraordinary talent, she can learn language by only watching dramas on television. She said that, this was the gift from God and she doesn't want to waste it. She can speak multiple languages, and the foreigners were always shock in wonder when they discover that she was Malaysian, plus having nobody to tutor her. Well, we don't want to put her tips in waste aren't we?
